From Facebook Page to Live Channel in Three Stages
You are not doing this alone — once your Facebook Page is ready, we book an online session and walk you through the connection screen by screen. Most clients are connected within the same call.
📘 Stage 1 — Create Your Facebook Page
- 1Log in to Facebook, open Pages, then click Create new Page.
- 2Choose a Public Page — not a personal profile. Only a Public Page can be connected.
- 3Fill in your Page name, category and bio, then add a profile picture, cover photo and contact details.
- 4Send us your Page name and Page ID (see below for where to find it).
🔗 Stage 2 — Connect Your Page
- 5We schedule an online session with you and guide you through the next two steps live.
- 6In the CPaaS portal, open Access Channel › Message Channel, find Messenger and click Open Messenger Service.
- 7A Facebook window opens. Sign in as a Page admin, pick your Page, then your Business, review the permissions and click Save.
💬 Stage 3 — Go Live
- 8We activate your Messenger channel and apply your account rates.
- 9Top up your Messenger credit balance so outgoing messages can be sent.
- 10Set up Auto Reply — customers who message your Page now land in your portal inbox.
Your First Week on Messenger
The channel is active — here's what to set up in the portal to get the most out of it from day one.
Add a welcome message and keyword rules so every customer gets an instant answer — even outside office hours.
Outgoing replies are charged per message from your dedicated Messenger balance. Keep it topped up so sending never pauses.
Show agents where Messenger chats appear in the unified inbox — it works exactly like the WhatsApp workflow they already know.
Check outbound, inbound, daily and monthly reports to see enquiry volume, response patterns and spend on the new channel.
Common Questions Before Connecting
If your Facebook Page is ready, the connection itself usually happens within one guided session — most clients are connected on the same call. Activation and rate setup on our side follow right after.
No. The portal side — inbox, auto-replies, CSV sending and reports — needs no coding at all. The Messenger API is there if your team wants to integrate with your own systems later, but it's optional.
Someone who is an admin of your Facebook Page, because the connection step requires signing in to Facebook and approving the messaging permission for your Page and Business.
No — only a Public Page can be connected. If you currently use a personal profile for your business, create a Page first (Stage 1 above) and you're good to go.
Incoming customer messages are free. Every outgoing message — agent replies and chatbot auto-replies alike — is charged per message from a dedicated Messenger balance. See Pricing & Credits for the full breakdown, and contact us for your channel rates.
Not at all. You only grant messaging permission — your Page remains fully under your ownership, and you can disconnect anytime.
